Lewis’s versatile brushwork focuses on natural looking moors and down-land scapes…
Wiltshire based artist Josie Lewis has been producing work for a number of years developing her scope of styles in an intuitive and experimental way. She believes everyone should own a bit of art.
She has developed her work to create a versatile impressionist style of her own producing landscapes, seascapes, floral and animal images in watercolour, acrylics and Pen & Ink wash.
Lewis’s versatile brushwork focuses on natural looking moors and down-land scenes in soft muted tones and she cleverly depicts floral’s using a delicate technique of her own that highlights a creativity she hopes captures the beauty and charm of the subject and a flair she hopes art lovers will enjoy and appreciate.
Lewis’s brushwork cleverly draws the eye into the image in a completely unique and delightful way bringing life and perspective that captures the imagination.
Recently she has branched out to create additional 3-dimentional work on textiles.
