Richa Vora – BA – Born 1988 India

Richa Vora is an award winning contemporary Indian artist, based in London. She is a figurative painter and specialises in Colourful Memoryscapes. She works mainly with oil paints, pastels and sometimes prefers working with mediums like Print and collage. Her subjects derive from her journeys and she creates narratives from her layered artworks. 

Since moving to London in 2016 she has won prizes and participated in many group shows including New English Art Club, Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and The British Art Prize. Currently Richa is exploring new possibilities whilst studying at The Art Academy, London weaving her journeys into her new artworks. 

It’s been a phenomenal year for Richa Vora, one of our gallery artists who only settled in England four years ago. Chosen for The Royal Institute of Watercolourist Exhibition 2021 with her painting “Two Girls”  and The British Art Prize 2021 for “The Morning After” and chosen for The New English Art Club Exhibition 2021 for “Confluence” More recently shortlisted for a major drawing competition Buoy Drawing Prize London.
