Georgie Young – BA – Born 1949 Scotland

Georgie Young is a graduate of The Glasgow School of Art and paints mainly contemporary Scottish Landscapes. Her paintings aim to evoke a sense of place, an atmosphere or an unexpected detail rather than reproduce a direct likeness.

Young exhibits annually with the Scottish Academy as well as the Royal Academy in London.
