INESE SILINA Born 1952 Latvia
Inese graduated with honors “Bachelor of Fine Art” 1st class from the Art Academy of Latvia in 1999.

Silina has exhibited at a number of established galleries and museums in Latvia, and won first prize for “The Congressional Art Competition” held at the Congress Building Washington DC. U.S.A.

Silina has produced a varied portfolio of work including, landscape, still life and figurative in the style of the Contemporary Impressionist’s. She recently exhibited at The Art Gallery of San Fransisco USA with her distinctive figurative abstractions.

Professional training – Janis Rozentals Art School of Riga (1963-1971), Latvian Academy of Arts, Painting Department (1971 – 1977) – under the supervision of Professor F. I. Zarins.
