My paintings are an expression of my response to that sense of energy felt….
Duncan Rory Grant Born 1969 Swindon Wilts
My work is not always intended to be a true rendering of a particular place, but rather, an expression of my response to that sense of energy felt. What inspires me most is the
horizon, that tenuous threshold where land, sea and sky meet. This threshold evokes a tremendous feeling of power. This is why I am drawn again and again to the Wiltshire downs and the cliff tops of Cornwall, both with their broad sweeping vistas and awe inspiring skies.
