I am driven to create art to show the beauty of the natural world, including the animals who walk this earth with us. I have a profound belief that all animals should have the right to a good life and with my painting I speak up for those who do not have a voice. I believe for those people who want to speak up for animals, who cannot speak for themselves is where my paintings play a contributing role through my love in the world for these wonderful creatures.

I draw inspiration from around the world, but especially the Indian Subcontinent and the far north of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides. I only paint what inspires me, and know when a painting is finished I feel the same sense of excitement I originally felt when seeing the animal for the first time.
