Paul Gardiner – Born 1972 England

Gardner exhibits in a number of top galleries in the UK, as well as internationally where he recently exhibited at the British Embassy in Luxembourg.

Paul Gardner was born in Basingstoke in 1972. In 1989 he entered a five year woodcarving and gilding apprenticeship studying 18th and 19th century ornament. He worked on the restoration of many stately homes including Up-park House and Prior Park.

In 1999 Gardner went on to set up and run a small bronze art casting business in rural Somerset. This uses the lost wax ceramic shell method, which is used to produce many of his sculptures today. Gardner now concentrates on sculpting and producing his own pieces as well as commissions.
